A Place to Think

A lone cowboy pauses on a desert hillside overlooking distant mesas and open country. Inspired by the landscapes of Utah and the American West, A Place to Think explores solitude, reflection, and the enduring relationship between people and the land. Built with layered graphite, ink, and acrylic on a textured panel, the work combines drawing and painting techniques to evoke the feeling of a weathered memory carried by the landscape itself.
